Achieving the Perfect Profile:
Dr. Mark Hamilton’s Signature Nefertiti Lift
Dr. Mark brings years of specialized expertise to his clinics in Dublin, Galway, and Belfast, offering the Nefertiti Lift to patients who are looking for a sharper, more defined jawline. This advanced technique is designed to smooth your neck and redefine your lower face.
To ensure a balanced and natural result, Dr. Mark provides the Nefertiti Lift exclusively as an "add-on" to his comprehensive Anti-Wrinkle Facial Packages. By treating the neck in harmony with the rest of the face, he ensures a cohesive look rather than focusing on a single area in isolation.
What is the Nefertiti Treatment Used For?
Jawline lacking definition
Vertical lines on your neck
Loose Jowls
How the Nefertiti Tightening treatment works
Your neck in not actually being lifted. The procedure simply relaxing the Platysma—the thin sheet of muscle that starts in your chest and pulls down on your jaw.
By relaxing the downward pull of the neck muscles, this treatment allows the jawline to appear tighter and helps vertical neck bands fade.
When combined with treating the DAO (mouth corners) and Masseters (jaw muscles), the procedure can slim the lower face and soften a "perpetual frown" for a more refreshed look.

The Nefertiti Lift: What to Expect
Dr. Mark performs the Nefertiti Lift at his Dublin, Galway, and Belfast clinics using a series of precise, tiny injections to redefine the jaw and smooth the neck.
Jawline Definition: By relaxing the upper platysma muscle, we reduce the "downward pull" on the lower face. This creates a visible lift and a sharper, more contoured jawline.
Neck Smoothing: Injections into the vertical neck bands relax the muscles, smoothing the area and reducing the appearance of "bands."
Total Facial Contouring: For enhanced results, Dr. Mark often combines this with DAO injections to lift down-turned mouth corners and Masseter slimming to refine a square jaw into a softer, more heart-shaped profile
Total Facial Contouring: For enhanced results, Dr. Mark oA series of injections are precisely administered into the Neck and Jawline to provide an uplift effect.
Is the Procedure Safe?
In the hands of a highly experienced medical practitioner, the Nefertiti Lift is a very safe and effective treatment.
As a qualified surgeon with a background in maxillofacial surgery, Dr. Mark Hamilton has over 25 years of clinical expertise precisely injecting the masseter and platysma muscles. This specialized anatomical knowledge is essential for achieving safe, natural results in the neck and jawline.
"It is vital to have this procedure performed by a physician who has a deep understanding of neck anatomy. Precision is key to ensuring both safety and a beautiful aesthetic outcome."
— Dr. Mark Hamilton
What to expect
The Procedure: Multiple injections along your jaw and neck.
The Wait: You should see a subtle improvement in your jawline after about 2 -3 weeks.
Maintenance: Lasts 3–4 months. To keep the look, you're looking at 4 visits a year.
Downtime: The neck skin is thin, so you’ll have tiny bumps (like bee stings) for an hour or two, and maybe a few small marks for a day or two.

The Nefertiti Lift: A Reality Check
The "Nefertiti Lift" is a great name, but it’s a bit of a misnomer. Anti -wrinkle injections cannot physically lift your skin like a surgeon can. Think of it this procedure as a tweak, not a transformation.
A Focus on Honesty
Dr. Hamilton’s priority is your best interest, not just performing the procedure you ask for. He will only recommend the Nefertiti Neck tightening treatment if he honestly believes it will give you a better aesthetic result. If he feels a different treatment—or even surgery—is better for you, he will be upfront about the limitations of this non surgical procedure.
Am I Suitable for a Nefertiti Treatment?
The Nefertiti Neck Lift is an excellent non-surgical option, but it isn’t the right fit for everyone. Here is how to tell if you are a good candidate:
Age: Best results are usually seen in patients aged 35 to 55.
Skin Condition: It works best for those with mild sagging or visible neck "bands" who still have decent skin elasticity.
If I am suitable – how will it work for me?
The results of this treatment are very subtle. If you’re a good fit, the result is a cleaner, more defined jawline—but keep in mind, it’s a subtle tweak, not a total transformation.
Why you might not be a fit:
Heavy Skin: If your skin has lost its "snap," relaxing the muscle won't help. Gravity still wins.
Deep Jowls: Injections can’t fix structural sagging.
Age 60+: At this age, the concern is usually loose skin rather than muscle pull. Non-surgical treatments won’t give you a noticeable result, and surgery is generally a better investment for your time and money.
The Bottom Line:
If you have early signs of sagging and good skin "snap," this could work for you.
If you’re hoping for the dramatic results of surgery, non-surgical treatments will likely fall short of your expectations. It’s better to think of this as a subtle refinement rather than a replacement for a surgical lift.
This type of non-surgical treatments has its limits. If you’re dealing with heavy jowls or a lot of loose skin, injections won't give you the "lift" you're after. In those cases, surgery is the only way to get a real result.
Dr. Mark welcomes new patients for facial aesthetic treatments.
Nefertiti Neck procedures are not available as stand-alone treatments - they are offered as an add-on to Facial Anti-Wrinkle packages
