Nefertiti Neck Lift
Due to it’s popularity Nefertiti Neck Rejuvenation treatments are only available to patients registered in our practice. They are not offered as a stand alone procedure.
This information page is intended to give honest and clear advice to our readers and does not promote a prescription product. In order to help educate the public about are their options when considering a non-surgical procedure, we’ve put together this information to explain what goes into bringing you a treatment you can trust.
What is the Nefertiti Treatment Used For?
- Jawline lacking definition
- Wrinkly, saggy neck area
- Loose Jowls
- Patients who tend to tense their neck, making the area appear more aged
Am I Suitable for a Nefertiti Treatment?
While the Nefertiti is a lovely treatment, it does not work on everyone as it will not give the full lifting effect they desire or expect.
The best age for a Nefertiti Lift is between the ages of 35 -55 years.
Dr. Hamilton will only perform a Nefertiti on patients whom he honestly feels will benefit aesthetically from this procedure. The aim of this treatment is to provide a good result when fighting the early signs of ageing to your neck.
A Nefertiti Neck procedure can never compete with a surgical neck lift or a Silhouette Soft Thread lift.
For patients over 55-60 years, Dr. Mark would advise a consultation with an aesthetic plastic surgeon with a view to their suitability for a surgical neck procedure.
His aim is to always recommend the best treatment plan to help meet patients’ expectations. This may NOT be the exact procedure they request as he is totally focused on their best medical and aesthetic interests.
Dr. Hamilton’s number one role is honesty and to be upfront about the limitations of his non- surgical aesthetics treatments.
What Does a Nefertiti Lift Treatment involve?
A series of injections are precisely administered into the Neck and Jawline to provide an uplift effect.
- The Lower Jaw Line– a series of tiny injections are inserted along the jawline to relax the upper Platysma, which pulls down on the jawline area. The effect is to reduce the downward pull of the Platysma on your face, resulting in a lifted appearance and improve jawline definition.
- Neck Area Muscles- Neck Bands are treated to relax the Platysma muscle and smooth out the bands.
Other areas often treated in conjunction with the Nefertiti lift include the DAO and Masseter muscles.
Injecting the DAO (Depressor Anguli Oris) reduces some of the downward pull on the corners of the mouth and can raise the corners of the mouth by about one mm. Injections into the Masseter slims down this muscle and provides a more heart shaped face rather than a masculine square jaw.
Is it Safe?
In the hands of a well-trained experienced practitioner, the treatment of this area is very safe.
As a qualified surgeon with maxillofacial surgery experience, Dr. Mark has over 19 years clinical expertise injecting the Masseter and Platysma muscles.
Dr. Mark advises “ It is important to have this work done by a physician who is experienced and who has a good understanding of the anatomy of the neck”.
Results and Treatment Frequency
Results will take up to 2 weeks and last 3-4 months. To maintain the appearance of a lifted and tighter jaw and neckline, patients usually need to undergo treatments about three times a year.
If I am suitable – how will it work for me?
The results of this treatment are very subtle. Patients with severe sagging jowls/ jawline will require a more invasive surgical procedure.
Downtime : The skin on the neck is very thin and delicate, injection marks will be visible for a few days
The Nefertiti Neck Lift cannot compete with a surgical neck lift.
If you have very deep lines and a sagging neckline, this procedure probably will not give you good results.
BROW LIFTS
Dr. Mark Hamilton specialises in non- surgical Brow Lifts. This type of injection technique will raise your natural eyebrow arch a few millimetres higher, leaving your eyes looking wider.
Brow Lifts work best when the glabella, frontalis and crow’s feet are injected.
You will get a more subtle brow elevation if either of these areas are treated on their own.
Dr. Mark is always very careful to inject the correct areas of your forehead to avoid drooping of the brow itself.
Price
Prices are based on the dosage injected into each area.
Non Surgical Brow Lift & Dermal Filler Brow Lift Explained
Non-surgical brow lifts can be achieved using anti wrinkle injections which tighten the forehead and elevate the eyebrow.
Some patients have eyebrows that appear pulled down which gives them a frowning look. These types of patient would benefit from a consultation with an expert who would advise which is the best course of treatment for them.
The brow can also be lifted by injecting dermal fillers under the eyebrow to provide the appearance of a lifted brow. Patients with a deep-set, sunken look to their eyes and who have lost fat under their brows may benefit from filler injections. Filler can make the area under the brow look plumper and more natural whilst provide a slight lift.
Consult with a specialist to determine your suitability
Deciding whether a combination of Anti Wrinkle or Dermal Filler injections should be used together or injected seperately depends on the aesthetic results you want. Some patients can benefit more from a combination treatment. This would be decided between you and Dr. Hamilton at your assessment consultation.
Non-surgical brow lifts require little recovery time and have fewer risks than surgical procedures.
Results
These injections will offer a temporary solution to your problem area and the effects are fully reversible.
Routinely, the brow lift effect should last 3 to 4 months, depending on your metabolism.
