Dr. Mark Hamilton is an aesthetic doctor with a background in maxillofacial surgery. He has been working in facial aesthetics for over 18 years.
The Nefertiti Lift is a Botox injection treatment designed to redefine the jaw and soften neck lines giving a temporary rejuvenating effect for patients who do not want a surgical neck lift.
What is the Treatment Used For?
- Jawline lacking definition
- Wrinkly, saggy neck area
- Loose Jowls
- Patients who tend to tense their neck, making the area appear more aged
How Does the Nefertiti Lift Work?
A series of Botox injections are precisely administered into the Neck and Jawline to provide an uplift effect.
- The Lower Jaw Line– Botox is injected along the jawline to relax the upper Platysma, which pulls down on the jawline area. The effect is to reduce the downward pull on your face resulting in a lifted appearance and improve jawline definition.
- Neck Area Muscles- Neck Bands are treated with Botox to relax the Platysma muscle and smoothen out the bands.
Other areas often treated in conjunction with the Nefertiti lift include the DAO and Masseter muscles. Injecting the DAO (Depressor Anguli Oris) reduces some of the downward pull on the corners of the mouth and can raise the corners of the mouth by about one mm. Botox injections into the Masseter slims down this muscle and provides a more heart shaped face rather than a masculine square jaw.
Results and Treatment Frequency
Results will take up to 2 weeks and last 3-4 months. To maintain the appearance of a lifted and tighter jaw and neckline, patients usually need to undergo treatments about three times a year. The results of this treatment are very subtle. Patients with severe sagging jowls/ jawline will require a more invasive surgical procedure.
Downtime : The skin on the neck is very thin and delicate, injection marks will be visible for a few days

The full Nefertiti Lift treatment of platysmal, masseter and DAO uses 50 and up to 80 Botox units. Dosages very from patient to patient depending on the nature of the areas involved and the desired outcome. You and Dr Hamilton can decide together what will give you the best result whilst staying within your budget.
Dr. Mark does a lot of injecting into the platysmal bands in his practice with great success. In the hands of a well-trained experienced practitioner, Botox treatment of this area is very safe and effective. As a qualified maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Mark has over 18 years experience injecting the Masseter and Platysma muscles. He advises “ It is important to have this work done by a physician who is experienced and who has a good understanding of the anatomy of the neck”.
The Nefertiti Neck Lift cannot compete with a surgical neck lift. But, it is much more affordable and can provide a good result for fighting the early signs of ageing around the jowls and neck. If you have very deep lines and heavy jowls, this procedure probably won’t give you good results.

Dr. Mark Hamilton specialises in non- surgical Brow Lifts. His injection technique will raise your natural eyebrow arch a few millimetres higher, leaving your eyes looking wider and more youthful.
Brow Lifts work best when the glabella, frontalis and crow’s feet are injected = 2 areas Botox. You will get a more subtle brow elevation if either of these areas are treated on their own. Dr. Mark is always very careful to inject the correct areas of your forehead to avoid drooping of the brow itself.
In addition to make you look more youthful these injections can also provide pain relief. Patients with tension headaches report less pain after their brow-lift treatments. Prices are based on the units of toxin injected into each area. The units of toxin required for a brow lift is equal to one or two areas of Botox.
One area = £ 150/ € 260.
Two areas = £ 250/ € 350.
Botox Brow Lift & Dermal Filler Brow Lift explained
Non-surgical brow lifts can be achieved using either Botox injections which tighten the forehead and elevate the eyebrow. Some patients have eyebrows that appear pulled down which gives them a frowning look. They will benefit more from Botox® or Dysport® injections.
The brow can also be lifted by injecting fillers under the eyebrow to provide the appearance of a lifted brow. Patients with a deep-set, sunken look to their eyes and who have lost fat under their brows can benefit from filler injections. Filler can make the area under the brow look plumper and more natural whilst provide a slight lift.
Deciding whether Botox or Filler might be used separately or together depends on the aesthetic results you want. Some patients can benefit more from a combination chemical lift using toxin and fillers. This would be decided between you and Dr. Hamilton at your consultation.
Non-surgical brow lifts require little recovery time and have fewer risks than surgical procedures. These injections will offer a temporary solution to your problem area and the effects are fully reversible.
The brow lift effect should last 3 to 4 months, depending on your metabolism.
