Dr. Mark would always advise a First Timer against having anti- wrinkle injections in the 4 weeks immediately leading up to his or her wedding.

He also recommends never changing your aesthetic doctor before such an important occasion. Best to stay under the care of the doctor who is familiar with your face.

Dr. Hamilton will always act in every patients’ best interest and therefore he has to decline treatment for these particular brides or grooms if requesting to see him as a ‘Newbie’ just before their wedding.

Every patient is unique and responds differently to doses of wrinkle smoothing injections. Most patients love their results, others may not quite like the results- it is simply not worth the risk for such a big event.

4 Months Before Your Wedding

Anti wrinkle injections are quick & safe. If you never had them before you may feel a little nervous about the outcome.

If you want to try cosmetic injectables for the first time before your big day – best to have your treatment 4 months before the wedding. That gives enough time for the treatment to wear off in case you don’t like the results.

The secret tip is to get YOUR dosage correct. You need to be able to show your true emotions on your big day & not be a frozen version of yourself.

Take lots of selfies over the 4 months after your injections – that way you will see how you face photographs after having anti wrinkle injections.

4 Weeks Before Your Big Day

Dr. Hamilton recommends that Brides & Grooms have their treatments at least 4 weeks before their wedding. This will allow time for your muscles to respond & for the treatment to take full effect.

Dr. Mark and you can decide on the best look for your big day – he will have your treatment notes from your previous appointments and together you can choose whether or not to adjust the dosage.

2 Weeks Before

Time for your review appointment. If any adjustments are required, they can be done at this point. This will allow the remaining 2 weeks for any tweaks to take effect.

Relax and enjoy the days before your wedding. Rather than get stressed – try to have fun – after all the party is just beginning !
